Here is the Failaka Post that I promised to Post :
I woke up at 8:00 AM and called my friend 'Elijah' and we quickly prepared everything,so i waited for him,later on we went to the port and we were socked of the amount of people that wanted to go there.
Leaving Kuwait City
after arriving to Failaka we really didn't know where to start so we headed to an old resort
Deserted Failaka ResortI'm really disappointed that this place is deserted cause it has a really beautiful view in front of the sea of course and its really a big resort ( almost the same size of al-khairan resort )
after leaving the resort we couldn't stop ourselves so we went off-roading,we had a lot of fun that my car's color went from gold to brown :P ( bas na9ee7a la tjarboon '3arazat eb 2003 yukon )
The Heritage Village in Failaka Island
it has a hotel,resturant,baskin robens,cafe and a lot more,this is a picture shows the small lake there.
after crusing around Failaka we decided to pick a place to set the tent cause it started getting dark,so we headed to a beach that has a small store and a resturant and just when i wanted to stop the car, the car got stuck (-_-) :
We tried calling 777 but the guy who soke to us didnt knwo what to do & they dont have Failaka's police station number so he told us to hold on for a minute ( he didnt press the hold button so we heard him saying "hatha wa7id m'3arza sayarta eb failcha o twahagt feeh shasaweelah ?".
After 30 min we saw a truck from the Fire Debt there and they were happy to hear that they found something to do,one of the guys told us that they are really bored there and dont have anyting to do.
After dealing with car,we had to light the cars lights so that we can set the tent since it got dark at that time,after setting up the tent we assabled the telescope,though it was a cloudy night but we gazed at the moon for a while and we were looking at Kuwait city from there.
At 12:30 AM we decided to go to sleep so that we can get up early.we woke up at 3:00 AM because of the stong wind that made the tent fall on our heads (-_-),We collected our stuff and put them in the car,so we wanted to change our place and guess what ? the car wont start working !!!
We waited like for 2:30 hours for a car to stop by to help us
Its 7:30 AM now and we were really tired so we headed to the port waiting for our ship ( ma adry shino 3abara bil english fa gilt aktibha ship :P) to come
( since we arrived in failaka at 11:30 AM we thought tht we will return at 11:30 to Kuwait City again ), we went to ask someone and he told use that it will arive at 12:00 PM so we said "ok,no problem with that".

A building which happens to be the Failaka Co.Op long ago.
We cruised again to take some pictures and then went to buy some snacks from the store there and we returnd to the port again and parked so that we can have a nap before the ship arrives.
When the Ship arrived they told us that its not sailing back to kuwait city until 2:30 PM !!!
we were somehow disapointed since we didnt see this comming so we headed back to the cafe and sat where i used my e-go to connect and to check my emails.

We left Failaka Island on 2:30 PM and we were really exusted and tired .

We couldn't wait to arrive we were really messed up at that time lol
With everything that happened to us it was a fun trip and we really loved it though we faced some hard times there but still it was a great experence and that is the most important thing.
I Advice you to visit Failaka its really a different place and it will bring you the 80's & 90's memories,but if you wanted to go there go as a large group of people,the more the people are with you,the more you'll have fun there,trust me ;)
