"I AM THAT" a book review.

Hell... oooo ! :p

How's everybody doing ha? Fine... Good. Just 2 days ago i finished reading a book called "I AM THAT". The problem is that its an old book and the author's name is kind of anonymous. Anyho, its a spiritual guidance book, about 550 pages (youre thinking oooooolaaaa 9ij hatha fa'9y al3an yooma ;p). Its about this indian dude who studies to become a Guru (a spiritual guider) and then becomes one. But not just anyone, The most famous and intelligent one,. This guy's wisdom is beyond a regular's human mind!! So when he became a Guru, he abandoned his famliy and devoted his life to god (or what he calls a superior power). The book is written by some english man who went to india and asked him questions about life and spirituality.

To be honest, the book turned out to be dull at the first quarter of reading it, because its basicly all (Q's & A's) and you, the reader, would feel kinda left out of the subject. Not to mention all the paradoxes this "Mahraj" talks about. At first he talks about the greatness of "oneness" then he talks about the must of "duality". This book is very hard to understand, it is not a "read me" book, it is a "STUDY me" book. And i also felt the repeatitive of the questions, it made me grow tired of reading it...

Other than that, the "Mahraj" is a very bright man who has great wisdom and understanding to life than anyone in this world. Here are some quotes i found really intresting:-

1- Q: What is a sin?
Mahraj: It is all that binds you...

2-Q: What is pain?
Mahraj: God created this world as whole and as perfect. So the word "pain" has no existence.
Q: Then how do you explain me expriencing pain in my life?
Mahraj: It is because you see the world as different segments, the more you diverse, the more "pain" you would feel.

3-Q: How to do i achieve eternal peace/ Become one with myslef (the world)?
Mahraj: By desirelessness and fearlessness.

4-Q: What is the difference between you and me?
Mahraj: We are all one, and yet, the world was created for me, and you were created for it. I control the world because I am with it. and yet you dont.

Pretty amazing ha? Well the bottom line, i give this book a rough:
7/10
It is a good book, but its not for reading, its for studying. Alot of reapitives in the questions. And ALOT of paradoxes !!

Yallah baroo7 adirs 3indy emti7aan bacher YUUUMAAAA !! 7ady 5ayef .. ed3ooly a5eth A+ la a8al :p !!

Peace Out!
